THE WORLD OF GENESIS

WELCOME!

Stop on by this page every few days to see what develops!

Hello,

This page is devoted to reviews. In the coming weeks I will write a special review. Afterwards I will, time over time, will put down my thoughts on various Genesis albums and albums from their members' solo careers. The following is just a taste of what to expect...

MOST UNDERRATED ALBUM??
MY REVIEW OF TONY BANKS' BANKSTATEMENT ALBUM

When a fan talks about the solo work most fans talk about his first album A CURIOUS FEELING or his work on movie soundtracks. However, one album that keeps getting overlooked is BANKSTATEMENT. It is one of the few albums you can pop into the stereo and listen to it track after track. From the opening horn section on "Throwback" to the instrumental "Thursday the Twelfth," you can't help but think how such a great album of music is left collecting dust on a shelf in a record store. The music listening people of this planet is being done a great injustice by not knowing that this album even exsists. Isn't it about time people get to know the musical talents of Tony Banks?

NOTE: This isn't the review to expect in the coming weeks, but just a sample of what to expect from reviews after that first review.
